This is my antenna tower
with a FB33, 3 element Tribander from Fritzel up about 40 feet. The tower
is a BP30 made by VERSATOWER and has three segments. The antenna rotor
is a HAM IV from hy-gain. I am using the tower also as a vertical for 80
m. The tower is grounded and I am using an omega match located at the bottom
of the tower. The feeding point is on top of the first segment, about 10
feet above the ground. The vertical is tuned to the DX portion of the 80m
band (3780-3800). The SWR is better than 1:1.1. |
